The Children’s Scholarship Fund in Charlotte, NC is a non-profit organization. All scholarship funds come from donations made by individuals and businesses.
Today, most of our scholarship funding comes from Children’s Scholarship Fund’s national organization in New York City. The John Locke Foundation in Raleigh, NC provides much of the funding for our administrative costs.
A critical part of our mission is to first replace, and then exceed our start-up funding. Ongoing funding must come from people and businesses right here in the Carolinas. We need your help. Children need your help. Since CSF-Charlotte is a 501-C3 non-profit organization, your donations are tax deductible.
Support A Student! You, the office, club, church group, scout group…even your bowling team can support a student scholarship. CSF-Charlotte can ‘pair’ a sponsor and a child so you can see who and where you are helping. Of course, this is done with permission of the child, parents and you. Gifts may remain anonymous. The cost to support a student scholarship is $2,000 per year.
